Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the local purpose (parking) reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

First Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei District

148 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 4, D.P. 144829; shown as part Lot 1 on L.T. 171782, situated in Block III, Ruakaka Survey District.

Second Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei District

110 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 38505; shown as Lot 4 on L.T. 171782, situated in Block III, Ruakaka Survey District. Part certificate of title 1063/163.

Classification and Vesting of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act, and further, vests the said reserve in The Kapiti Coast District Council in trust for that purpose.

Revocation of Reservation

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as local purpose reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Marlborough District Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other lands for reserves.

59 square metres, more or less, being Lot 14, D.P. 7915.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes—Waiohiki Road/Tutaekuri River, Hastings District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Crown Property Officer, Land Information New Zealand, Napier, declares an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on the date hereto of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

All situate in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District. S.O. 10689 is held in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

Road Stopped and Amalgamated—Main Street, Tuai, Wairoa District

Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Crown Property Officer, Land Information New Zealand, Napier, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule to be stopped and further declares:

(a) The road firstly described in the Schedule (now known as Section 1, S.O. 8798) shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5C/1108.

(b) The road secondly described in the Schedule (now known as Section 2, S.O. 8798), shall vest pursuant to section 345 (3), Local Government Act 1974, in The Wairoa District Council as esplanade reserve.
