Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Marine Parade Foreshore Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation—Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Marine Parade Foreshore Reserve to be administered as a recreation reserve by The Napier City Council.

5.1756 hectares, more or less, being part Town Section 633, Napier. All certificate of title C2/261. S.O. Plan 1157.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Hurunui District Council on the 24th day of May 1995, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Clutha Mackenzie Reserve.

“Clutha Mackenzie Reserve”

That in exercise of its powers conferred in it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Hurunui District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the Act.

2644 square metres, being part Lot 1, D.P. 12263. All C.T. 30B/195. Subject to building line restriction contained in authority 1131.

Revocation of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Christchurch City Council at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine. Proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
