Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a cemetery for the common use and benefit of the members of Te Urianiwha, Whanautanga, Ngati Hineira and Ngati Korohua hapus and the Maori people of Te Ahu Ahu.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block XII, Omapere Survey District and described as follows:

899 m² and 860 m²

Being Part Pirikotaha 3C and being part of the land contained in partition order of the Maori Land Court dated 11 December 1984.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Wanganui 1995, No. 8.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation only to the pieces of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.
  3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Road Realignment in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Otorohanga District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

(c) Pursuant to section 117, declares that:

(i) Areas “E” and “F”, now known as Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 58555 respectively, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 47D/351, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 995766.5, South Auckland Land Registry.

(ii) Area “G”, now known as Section 3, S.O. 58555, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 1798/98, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 966355.3, South Auckland Land Registry.
