Road Stopped and Land Acquired for Recreation Reserve in Wanganui District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Lands and Property Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui:

(a) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the portion of road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped;

(b) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that the said portion of road, when so stopped, is acquired for recreation reserve and vested in The Wanganui District Council.

Notice of Intention to Compulsory Acquire Land

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1981, and in the matter of Lot 4, Deposited Plan 2848 (Hawke’s Bay Registry):

Take notice that The Hastings District Council intends to take those parts of Lot 4, Deposited Plan 2848 containing respectively 96 and 84 square metres and as more particularly shown as areas “B” and “E” on Survey Office Plan 10548, a copy of which may be viewed at the office of the Chief Surveyor, Napier. There is no title to Lot 4, Deposited Plan 2848. The land is to be acquired for road and as a severance as a result of roading.
