Exempt from the requirement to have an import health permit dried cut flowers and foliage imported for decorative purposes.
Pursuant to section 24 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I hereby give notice that, subject to the condition below, I exempt from the requirement to have an import health permit dried cut flowers and foliage imported for decorative purposes.
This exemption is subject to the condition that it shall only apply to consignments of dried cut flowers and foliage for decorative purposes that comply with the conditions for import specified in the relevant import health standard for dried cut flowers and foliage for decorative purposes that is for the time being issued under section 22 of the Biosecurity Act 1993; and for the avoidance of doubt, this exemption shall not apply where such import health standard requires that an import health permit be held.

Approval for Place of First Arrival (Gazette Notice: AG5)
Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I hereby give notice that on the 26th day of June 1995, I designated Queenstown Airport as an approved place for the first arrival for aircraft arriving in New Zealand under section 37 (1) (a) of the Biosecurity Act 1993.
The notice designating Queenstown Airport to be an approved place is available for inspection between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. at the MAF office at Spey Street, Invercargill.

Hop Marketing Regulations 1939
Hop Marketing Board Election (No. AG19)
Pursuant to clause 11 of the Schedule to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of 5 producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Hop Marketing Board will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places: viz., Agriculture New Zealand, Richmond and New Zealand Hop Products, Blackbyre Road, Appleby.
The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from the 3rd Wednesday in July (19 July 1995) during which time any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing to any entry on the roll.
Nomination forms may be obtained on application from the Returning Officer, Agriculture New Zealand, Richmond.
Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 2nd Wednesday in September (13 September 1995).

Meat Act 1981
Determination of Commencement and Length of 1995–96 and Subsequent Seasons Under the Meat Act 1981 (Notice No. AG6)
Pursuant to section 43DA of the Meat Act 1981 and after consultation with those organisations recognised by the Director-General under section 43D (1), it is hereby specified that for the purposes of Part IIIA of the Act, the 1995–96 season shall commence on the 1st day of November 1995 and terminate on the 31st day of October 1996 and all subsequent seasons shall commence on the 1st day of November of each year and terminate on the 31st day of October of the following year.
