This exemption is subject to the condition that it shall only apply to consignments of animal products for ornamentation that comply with the conditions for import specified in the relevant import health standard for animal products for ornamentation that is for the time being issued under section 22 of the Biosecurity Act 1993; and for the avoidance of doubt, this exemption shall not apply where such import health standard requires that an import health permit be held.

Exemption From Requirement for Import Health Permit (No. AG10)

Pursuant to section 24 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I hereby give notice that, subject to the condition below, I exempt from the requirement to have an import health permit food imported for animal consumption.

This exemption is subject to the condition that it shall only apply to consignments of food for animal consumption that comply with the conditions for import specified in the relevant import health standard for animal consumption that is for the time being issued under section 22 of the Biosecurity Act 1993; and for the avoidance of doubt, this exemption shall not apply where such import health standard requires that an import health permit be held.

Exemption From Requirement for Import Health Permit (No. AG11)

Pursuant to section 24 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I hereby give notice that, subject to the condition below, I exempt from the requirement to have an import health permit equipment imported for use with animals.

This exemption is subject to the condition that it shall only apply to consignments of equipment for use with animals that comply with the conditions for import specified in the relevant import health standard for equipment for use with animals that is for the time being issued under section 22 of the Biosecurity Act 1993; and for the avoidance of doubt, this exemption shall not apply where such import health standard requires that an import health permit be held.

This exemption is subject to the condition that it shall only apply to consignments of fresh produce for human consumption that comply with the conditions for import specified in the import health standard for fresh produce for human consumption that is for the time being issued under section 22 of the Biosecurity Act 1993; and for the avoidance of doubt, this exemption shall not apply where such import health standard requires that an import health permit be held.

Exemption From Requirement for Import Health Permit (No. AG18)

Pursuant to section 24 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I hereby give notice that, subject to the condition below, I exempt from the requirement to have an import health permit the plant products described in the schedule to this notice that are imported for the corresponding purpose or purposes specified in the Schedule.

This exemption is subject to the condition that it shall only apply to consignments of the goods specified in the schedule that comply with the conditions for import specified in the import health standard for such goods that is for the time being issued under section 22 of the Biosecurity Act 1993; and for the avoidance of doubt, this exemption shall not apply where such import health standard requires that an import health permit be held.

Bamboo/Cane/Rattan/Willoware/Plant fibres For producing woven articles or as finished articles (basketware, furniture, matting, bagasse)
Broom millet For broom manufacture
Conifer cones For decorative purposes
Corn products For decorative purposes or use as packaging
Herbarium specimens For research or educational purposes
Peat/Peat products For use in plant propagation
Wood For use as packaging, as personal effects, as timber, or as dunnage
