Declaration that Land be Held for Conservation Purposes Together with Declaration that the Area Become Recreation Reserve Vested in the Auckland City Council

Pursuant to section 7(1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8(1A) of the Act, further declares that the conservation area shall be reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve, and further, pursuant to section 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in The Auckland City Council, in trust.

5200 square metres, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 67528, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District.

Reserves Act 1977

Amendment to a Notice Revocating the Reservation over Parts of a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby amends the notice dated 6 April 1995, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 31, page 915, by adding, after the wording “Shown as ‘B’ on S.O. 67680. Part certificate of title 18B/128.” the following:

“Both situated in Block XIII, Otahuhu Survey District.”

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Hamilton City Council on 22 February 1995:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Hamilton City Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Notice Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439(1) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a fishing ground, recreation ground, gardening site and place of historical interest for the common use and benefit of Ngatituhekerangi hapu of the Taranaki tribe.
