International Air Services Licensing Act 1947

Notice of Application for an Amendment to an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, and delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Judith Olga Stack, Secretary for Transport, give notice that an application has been made, in terms of sections 14 and 14A of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, for amendments to the international air service licence issued to Japan Airlines Limited to enable the airline to operate two weekly B767-300 services to Fukuoka, jointly with Air New Zealand, with effect from 29 October 1995.

Further details of this proposal are available from me at the Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward the representations to reach me on or before 12 October 1995.

Pursuant to sections 14 and 14A of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Air New Zealand Limited has applied for amendments to its international air service licence to enable the airline to operate two weekly B767-300 services to Fukuoka, jointly with Japan Airlines, with effect from 29 October 1995.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the international air service licence issued to Air New Zealand Limited to allow the airline to operate up to three return services per week to Hong Kong.

This amendment will take effect from 21 November 1995.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice No. 1, 1995

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Judith Olga Stack, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice No. 1, 1995.

The Minister of Transport’s duly authorised delegate hereby declares those localities and roads within markings identified in the legends of and appearing on plans numbered TT9403/1 entitled “Matamata Piako District at Matamata” and TT9403/2 entitled “Matamata Piako District at Te Aroha” and held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority to be closely populated localities, 70 km/h speed limit areas, limited speed zones or to be excluded from the limit as to speed imposed by subsection 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as may be ascertained from the legends. The said plans and legends are hereby incorporated in this notice.

The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The following notices are revoked:

  1. The Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice No. 1, 1990, signed on the 17th day of May 1990, which relates to Matamata Piako District, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  2. The Traffic (Ohinemuri County) Notice No. 1, 1983, signed on the 13th day of September 1983, which relates to Ohinemuri County, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The Traffic (Matamata Borough and Matamata County) Notice No. 1, 1981, dated on the 31st day of August 1981, which relates to Matamata Borough and Matamata County, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

  4. Extract from the New Zealand Gazette “Limited Speed Zone Declared” dated on the 30th day of July 1958, which relates to Piako County, issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1949 and the Traffic Regulations 1956.

Schedule

SITUATED within Matamata Piako District at Walton:
Walton Road: from a point 140 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Walton Road from the north-eastern end of the bridge over the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to a point 580 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Walton Road from the south-western end of the said bridge.
