Pursuant to section 4(1) (a) (i) of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the land referred to in Part A of the Schedule to the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, as the “Jess Road Saltmarsh, Tauranga Harbour Lands, and the Whakatane Harbour Lands” to be revested in the Crown and held for conservation purposes under the Conservation Act 1987.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Manager of Conservation, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, as recreation reserves, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Amendment to a Notice Revoking a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation hereby amends the notice revoking the reservation over the land described in the schedule hereto, dated the 2nd day of November 1994 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1994, No. 118, page 3497, by adding, after the wording in the notice “in the Schedule hereto”, the following:

“and further, directs that The Waimakariri District Council shall take the necessary action to vest the land as legal road”.
