New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987
Approved Export Marketing Strategy and Export Licence Requirements for Nashi Asian Pears
Pursuant to section 30 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, the Authority hereby gives notice with respect to the following prescribed product:
Nashi Asian Pears (Pyrus pyrifolia and Pyrus pyrifolia & Pyrus ussuriensis hybrid)
that
(a) On the 15th day of December 1994, the Authority approved the export marketing strategy with respect to this prescribed product, pursuant to section 28 of the said Act; and
(b) pursuant to section 29 of the said Act, the Authority has fixed the 20th day of January 1995, as the date this export marketing strategy shall come into force; and
(c) from the 20th day of January 1995, any person who wishes to export nashi asian pears will be required to hold an export licence issued under the said Act; and
(d) applications for an export licence should be made to the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority, P.O. Box 1417, Wellington.

Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953
Proposed Release of Deposit
New Reinsurance Company Limited (herein called “the company”), has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand, and that it proposes to withdraw pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated, or provided for the purposes to release to the company on or after 1st April 1995, the amount deposited with him by the company.
Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–125 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before 20 February 1995.

DFC New Zealand Limited (Advisory Committee) Notice 1994
Pursuant to section 119 (4) of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989, I, the Right Honourable Bill Birch, the Minister of Finance, in accordance with a recommendation of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, give the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(i) This notice may be cited as the DFC New Zealand Limited (Advisory Committee) Notice 1994.
(ii) This notice shall come into force on the day following the day of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Extension of appointment of advisory committee—The term of appointment of the following members of the Advisory Committee formed to advise the statutory manager of DFC New Zealand Limited (and its subsidiary companies), namely:
Sir Spencer Thomas Russell, company director of Auckland, as chairman
Yukio Fujita, company executive of Tokyo
Sanford Lee Maier, banker of Maine, United States of America
George Markou, banker of Sydney
or, in his absence
Bruce Message, banker of Sydney
or, in the absence of both
John Belisle, banker of New York
or, in the absence of all the foregoing
Gev Nentin, banker of New York
David Gregory Sadler, company director of Auckland
and
Thomas Stewart Tennent, banker of Wellington
is hereby extended to expire on the 31st day of December 1995.
- In this notice, a reference to the absence of any person shall mean the absence of that person from the whole or part of any meeting of the Advisory Committee.
