Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1B) of the latter Act.

North Auckland Land District—Whangarei District Council

6.0702 hectares, more or less, being Motu Kauri Block, situated in Block II, Whangaruru Survey District. All certificate of title 750/90, limited as to parcels. M.L. Plan 188.

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1A) of the Reserves Act 1977.

7.9925 hectares, more or less, being Section 9, Block X, Opuawhanga Survey District (S.O. 47943).

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale May Be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over the local purpose (service lane) reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Tauranga District Council in such manner, at such price or other consideration and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, any net proceeds of sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

143 square metres, more or less, being Lot 4, D.P. S. Plan 21568 (formerly part Lot 1, D.P. 32588, and part Lots 8 and 9, D.P. 35586), situated in Block VII, Tauranga Survey District.
