Conservation Act 1987

Amending a Notice Declaring That a Marginal Strip is Not Required

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation amends the notice dated the 5th day of November 1993, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 11th day of November 1993, No. 166, page 3375, declaring that a marginal strip is not required, pursuant to section 24B of the Conservation Act 1987, by deleting the description of the land described as “Area ‘A’ on S.O. 36992, situated in Blocks VI and X, Waipakura Survey District” and substituting it with “1,060 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, Blocks VI and X, Waipakura Survey District. S.O. Plan 36992. All certificate of title 43A/730.”

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Appointment of a Minister of the Crown to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Conservation hereby revokes the appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the Government purpose reserve, described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting of a Reserve in the Waitaki District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in The Waitaki District Council, in trust for the purposes of a camping ground.

Notification of Disposal of Conservation Land

Pursuant to section 26 of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby declares that, the land formally held for conservation purposes, described in the Schedule hereto, has been disposed of to M. J. Furby for the consideration of thirty one thousand, five hundred dollars ($31,500), including goods and services tax.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall Be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Papakura District Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in and towards the improvements of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
