Industry Training Act 1992

Forest Industry Training and Education Council Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 16th day of December 1993, the Forest Industry Training and Education Council Incorporated, was afforded recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Forestry Industry. This recognition is granted with the provision that the ITO must consult and gain agreement with Maori in terms of the training for the Forestry Industry.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Part of State Highway No. 1 at Horotiu

Pursuant to section 61 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and section 72 (1) (f) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw:

Bylaw

  1. This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 94/1.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force immediately.

  3. In this bylaw “motor vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.

  4. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres an hour on that part of State Highway No. 1 at Horotiu, commencing at a point 100 metres north of its junction with Whatawhata Road (RP 442/6.00) and extending 800 metres generally in a southerly direction to a point 120 metres south of Horotiu Road (RP 442/6.87).

  5. Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.

This bylaw is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
