Conservation Act 1987

Notification of Disposal of Conservation Land

Pursuant to section 26 of the Conservation Act 1987, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Southland, hereby declares that the conservation land described in the Schedule hereto, has been disposed of to W. J. O’Brien for the consideration of $113,500 including Goods and Services Tax.

Southland Land District—Southland District

7740 square metres, more or less, being Sections 28 and 31, Block I, Lillburn Survey District. All C.T. 10D/247.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land, jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes.

Water Pipeline easement created by Transfer 678514.1; Compensation Certificate, pursuant to section 19 of the Public Works Act 1981, contained in C061717.3;

Certificate under section 308 (2) of the Local Government Act 1974, contained in C340018.1.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

In the declaration with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 May 1994, No. 45, page 1631, amend “recreation reserve” to read “drainage reserve”.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the East Coast Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Wairoa District Council on the 17th day of May 1994:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Wairoa District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (recreation and community facilities) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

4.7800 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 10489, situated in Block V, Clyde Survey District.
