2. Interpretation—

(1) In this notice “the Act” means the Securities Act 1978.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Authorised life insurance companies—

Each life insurance company named in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company.

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 March 1994, No. 20, page 988 at the Second Schedule, line 2 delete: “northern” and substitute: “northwestern”, at line 3 delete: “to a point 118 metres west of the junction with Connemara Drive, and thence generally on the southern then eastern side along John’s and Russley Roads to a point 311 metres north of the junction with Bentley Street in Russley at RP 332/11.28, and thence generally on the western side to a point 109 metres north of the junction with State Highway 73 at RP 332/11.84” and substitute: “and extending in a southwesterly direction to a point 109 metres northeast of the junction with Yaldhurst Road (State Highway No. 73) at RP 332/11.84, and generally on the southeastern side, commencing at a point 118 metres west of the junction with Connemara Drive at RP 332/0.96 and extending in a southwesterly direction to a point 311 metres northeast of the junction with Bentley Street in Russley at RP 332/11.28”, as more particularly shown on sheets 1–11 of plan TNZ CH/48 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Christchurch and there available for public inspection.
