1996 Census of Population and Dwellings

CATHERINE A. TIZARD, Governor-General

Pursuant to section 23 of the Statistics Act 1975, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that Tuesday, the 5th day of March 1996, shall be the day on which the Census of Population and Dwellings shall be taken, and the time with reference to which the particulars shall relate shall be midnight between Tuesday, the 5th day of March 1996 and Wednesday, the 6th day of March 1996.

Given under the hand of Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of June 1994.
