Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967

Revocation of Declaration of Infected Area

Pursuant to regulation 7 of the Forest Disease Control Regulations 1967, and to an approval from the Minister of Forestry, I, Ross Morgan, an authorised Forestry Officer, hereby revoke the declaration of infected area described in the Schedule hereto.

Schedule

The declaration hereby revoked is that dated 28 December 1993, relating to the City of Napier, and in respect of the disease Ophiostroma ulmi (commonly known as Dutch Elm Disease).

The declaration hereby revoked is that which was published in the Daily Telegraph on 12 to 14 January 1994 and in the New Zealand Gazette on 13 January 1994.

Acting District Court Judges Appointed

Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Eric Bernard Anderson and

David Bracken Wilson, retired District Court Judges

to be Acting District Court Judges, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947, at such place or places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix, pursuant to the said section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of 12 months on and from the date hereof.
