Education Act 1989

Appointment of a Commissioner for Timaru Girls’ High School

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the Board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the Board, I hereby dissolve the Timaru Girls’ High School Board of Trustees and appoint Mr Colin Macintosh as Commissioner to act in its place.

Pursuant to section 136 of the Education Act 1989, the following fees (G.S.T. inclusive) will be charged by the Teacher Registration Board:

Each application for registration (For successful applicants this fee includes the cost of the practising certificate.) $30.00

Renewal of a 3 year practising certificate $30.00

Duplicate practising certificate or certificate of registration $20.00

Bank charges or third party charges incurred by the Registration Board in processing applications, are additional.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of a Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated the 24th day of February 1994, which was granted under those regulations to Jeannie Sale in respect of Bridge Pa Preschool, Maraekakaho Road, Hastings.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
