This is a statement of intention to publish rules in the following CAR Part:

Part 43—General Maintenance Rules.

Pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990. The submission time for the proposed part is indicated in the NPRM and is not less than 60 days.

Copies of Notices of Proposed Rule Making are available for viewing at Civil Aviation Authority, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt and on application to P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt, 6300.

For further information write to the Docket Clerk at the above address. Initial copies have been sent to the Rule Review Groups.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road (State Highway No. 1): Masham/Carmen Roads, Christchurch

It is noted that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 4 May 1994 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Christchurch on Masham Road and Carmen Road from just south of Rosella Street to Main South Road as follows:

Eastern Side of State Highway No. 1

Commencing at RP 344/0.26, a point located 50 metres southwest of the southern boundary of Rosella Street to Main South Road at RP 344/2.77, and

Western Side of State Highway No. 1

Commencing at RP 344/0.26, a point located 50 metres southwest of the southern boundary of Rosella Street to RP 344/1.37 the southern boundary of Buchanans Road, and from RP 344/1.79 a point located 420 metres south of the southern boundary of Buchanans Road to Main South Road at RP 344/2.77.

All as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan TNZCH/52 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Christchurch, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road (State Highway No. 74): Cranford Street, Christchurch

It is noted that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 4 May 1994 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 74, Christchurch on the Fraser Street to McFaddens Road section of Cranford Street as follows:

Eastern Side of State Highway No. 74

Commencing at RP 0/4.90, a point located 420 metres south of the eastern boundary of Fraser Street to RP 0/5.70, a point located 270 metres north of the north-western boundary of McFaddens Road, and

Western Side of State Highway No. 74

Commencing at RP 0/4.75, a point located 270 metres from the projected eastern boundary of Fraser Street to RP 0/5.70, a point located 270 metres north of the north-western boundary of McFaddens Road.

All as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan TNZCH/51 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Christchurch, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Notification of Disposal of Conservation Land

Pursuant to section 26 of the Conservation Act 1987, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Southland, hereby declares that the conservation land described in the Schedule hereto, has been disposed of to G. W. Stiven and R. J. Matheson, for the consideration of $38,250, including Goods and Services Tax.
