Fire Districts Review Notice April 1994

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Fire Districts Review Notice April 1994.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 25th day of May 1994.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous Fire District Notices for the Fire Districts listed in the Schedule.

Constitution of Fire Districts

4. The Urban areas of the towns listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted into Fire Districts.

5. The boundaries of the constituted Fire Districts listed in the Schedule are defined and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Securities Amendment Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1994 (No. 5)

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1994 (No. 5).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires—

“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988;

“the Exchange” means New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.

(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act has the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Strategic Futures and Options Limited authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) Strategic Futures and Options Limited is hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that Strategic Futures and Options Limited:

(a) is an Introducing Broker within the meaning of the rules of the Exchange; and

(b) is bound by the rules of the Exchange; and

(c) deals only through a Public Broker of the Exchange;

and

that the authorisation applies only in respect of futures contracts made on or effected through the Exchange or a futures exchange in a country other than New Zealand which is authorised by the laws of that country.
