Industry Training Act 1992

Aviation, Tourism and Travel Industry Training Organisation

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 11th day of April 1994, the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Industry Training Organisation, was afforded recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Industries with the responsibility for the skill standards in the following areas:

Aviation—aeronautical engineering, aircrew operations, aircrew training, control of aircraft operation and aviation ground services.

Tourism—tourism elements in the operation of museums, attractions, adventure providers, event and conference organisers, retailers, rental car operators, campervan operators, railways and ferries (tourism related activities), regional tourism offices, promotion boards, visitor information centres and local bodies.

Travel—travel agents, reservation services, tour wholesalers, inbound operators principals and booking offices.

The applicant is to involve all other interested parties in the setting of these skill standards.

New Zealand Contractors’ Federation Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 11th day of April 1994, the coverage of the New Zealand Contractors’ Federation Incorporated ITO was extended to include the following skill areas:

The operation of all forms of cranes including mobile, crawler, tower, truck mounted travelling gantry and overhead cranes and the rigging and slinging of loads.

In the setting of skill standards in these areas the New Zealand Contractors’ Federation Incorporated ITO will be required to consult with other interested parties.

New Zealand Stevedoring Employers Association Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 11th day of April 1994, the New Zealand Stevedoring Employers Association Incorporated, was afforded recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Stevedoring/Port Cargo Handling Industry. The New Zealand Stevedoring Employers Association Incorporated will be joint setters of standards in certain skill areas necessitating the involvement of other interested parties in the process.

New Zealand Institute of Architects Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 9th day of May 1994, the New Zealand Institute of Architects Incorporated, was afforded recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Architecture Industry. The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Designation as Security Aerodrome

Pursuant to section 82 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby designates:

Invercargill Aerodrome

as a security aerodrome.
