Notice

1. Title and commencement, and expiry—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 4) 1994.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

(3) This notice shall expire with the close of the 31st day of March 1995.

2. Interpretation—(1) In this notice “the Act” means the Securities Act 1978.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.

3. Authorised life insurance company—Equitable Life Insurance Company Limited is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act, in respect of all life insurance policies issued by that company other than First Mortgage Bonds, Life Bonds and Annuities as described in a registered prospectus of that company dated the 25th day of February 1994.

Conservation

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land shall vest in The Christchurch City Council in fee-simple to enable the land to be legalised as road.

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (water conservation) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation for the West Coast Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, as recreation reserves and further, declares that the reserves shall form part of the Jackson Bay Recreation Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
