The Traffic (Hurunui District) Notice No. 1, 1994

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport, I, Grant Stewart Milne, Acting Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hurunui District) Notice No. 1, 1994.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Hurunui County) Notice No. 7, 1981, dated the 28th day of October 1981*, issued pursuant to regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

Schedule

SITUATED within Hurunui District at Leithfield:

Beach Road: from Old Main North Road to a point 100 metres measured westerly, generally, along Beach Road from the No. 1 State Highway (Waiau-Bluff).

Brighton Street.

Broomfield Street.

Dover Street.

Mount Grey and Leithfield Road: from Old Main North Road to Terrace Road.

Old Main North Road: from Mount Grey and Leithfield Road to a point 700 metres measured southerly, generally, along Old Main North Road from Beach Road.

Ramsgate Street.

Terrace Road: from Mount Grey and Leithfield Road to Dover Street.

Building Service Contractors of New Zealand Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 11th day of April 1994, the Building Service Contractors of New Zealand Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Contract Cleaning Industry. The Building Service Contractors of New Zealand Incorporated is required to consult with other interested organisations in the setting of national standards in the skill area it has been recognised for.

The Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 3) 1994

Pursuant to the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement, and expiry—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Life Insurance Companies Notice (No. 3) 1994.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of May 1994.

(3) This notice shall expire with the close of the 30th day of April 1995.

  1. Interpretation—(1) In this notice “the Act” means the Securities Act 1978.

(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.

  1. Authorised life insurance companies—Each life insurance company named in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be an authorised life insurance company for the purposes of the Act in respect of all life insurance policies issued by the company.
