The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1994 (No. 2)
Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice:
Notice
-
Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1994 (No. 2).
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. -
Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:
“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988;
“the Exchange” means New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.
(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by the Act.
- Certain persons authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) The following persons are hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally:
ANZ McCaughan Futures Limited.
Australian Gilt Futures Limited.
Bain Refco Commodities Limited.
Barclays de Zoeta Wedd Australia Futures Limited.
C, A & L Bell Commodities Corporation Pty Limited.
Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
CS First Boston Australia Securities Limited.
Fay, Richwhite Futures Australia Limited.
FIMAT Australia Pty Limited.
J.P. Morgan Australia Limited.
L Quay Futures Brokers Pty Limited.
Macquarie Bank Limited.
McIntosh Futures Limited.
Ord Minnett Jardine Fleming Futures Limited.
Potter Warburg Securities Limited.
SBC Dominiquez Barry Limited.
Tullet & Tokyo (Australia) Pty Limited.
(2) Each of the authorisations referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that the authorised person:
(a) is a Public Broker within the meaning of the rules of the Exchange; and
(b) agrees to be bound by the rules of the Exchange.

Transit New Zealand
Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Revoking Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 1—John’s Road and Declaring Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 1—Belfast to Russley
It is notified that the Transit New Zealand Authority, by resolution dated 2 February 1994 and pursuant to section 88 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 revokes the limited access road status from the section of highway described in the First Schedule hereto, and declares the section of State highway described in the Second Schedule hereto to be limited access road.
First Schedule
In Christchurch on State Highway No. 1 (John’s Road) commencing at Sawyers Arms Road (RP 332/5.53) and extending to Harewood Road (RP 332/6.98).
Second Schedule
In Christchurch on State Highway 1, generally on the northern side commencing in Belfast 66 metres west of the junction with State Highway 74 at RP 332/0.07 to a point 118 metres west of the junction with Connemara Drive, and thence generally on the southern then eastern side along John’s and Russley Roads to a point 311 metres north of the junction with Bentley Street in Russley at RP 332/11.28, and thence generally on the western side to a point 109 metres north of the junction with State Highway 73 at RP 332/11.84, as more particularly shown on sheets 1–11 of Plan TNZ CH/48 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Christchurch and there available for public inspection.

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road: State Highway No. 1—Kopeti Road to Waiariki River
It is notified that the Transit New Zealand Authority, by resolution dated 2 February 1994 and pursuant to section 88 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1 at Waiotu commencing on the northern side at the western boundary of Section 7, S.O. 62706 CT 70A/956 (RP 129/5.04) and commencing on the southern side at the western boundary of part Section 11, Block XI, Hukerenui S.D. C.T. 50D/360 (RP 129/6.35), and extending generally in an easterly direction for approximately 3.5 km on the northern side to the eastern boundary of Section 36, Block XI, Hukerenui S.D. C.T. 51D/1122 (RP 129/8.51) and on the southern side to the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 15598, C.T. 89C/964 (RP 129/8.51), as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 and 2 of Plan LA/11/10/1 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Auckland and there available for public inspection to be a limited access road.
