Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Tamaki-nui-a-Rua Amendment Notice

Pursuant to section 155 (8) (b) of the Education Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Education, the Group Manager Implementation, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Tamaki-nui-a-Rua Amendment Notice 1994.

2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

3. The notice entitled, “Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Tamaki-nui-a-Rua”, published in the New Zealand Gazette on 9 September 1993, No. 131, page 2680, is hereby amended by omitting clause 5, and substituting it with the following clause:

   “5. Constitution of the Board of Trustees—The Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Tamaki-nui-a-Rua shall comprise:

   (a) five (5) elected parent representatives;

   (b) the principal;

   (c) a staff representative; and

   (d) not more than four (4) persons co-opted by the Board”.
