commencement of the year in which they are undertaking tertiary education: shall be considered as domestic students.

(2) Notwithstanding subclause (1) of this clause, no domestic student, within the meaning of this notice, shall be considered a domestic student for any period—

(a) after 31 December in the year in which they turn 21 years of age; or

(b) after 31 December in the year in which the member of the diplomatic mission or consulate ceases to hold that position.

Note: The effect of this notice is that dependent children of members of a diplomatic mission or consular post, enrolled in tertiary institutions, are to be treated for enrolment, course and fees purposes as if domestic students until the end of the calendar year the students turn 21 years of age, or the end of the year in which the member no longer holds that post.

Dependent children who are 21 years and over on entry to New Zealand are treated as if foreign students.


Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Dominic’s College, Henderson.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 16th day of November 1994. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 6–10 Nugent Street, Grafton, Auckland.

The Resource Management (Approval of Northpower Limited as Requiring Authority)

Notice 1994

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Northpower Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1994.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “line function services” has the same meaning as in section 2 (1) of the Electricity Act 1992.

  2. Approval as requiring authority—Northpower Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority for its network operation of the supply of line function services.
