Cancellation of a Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated the 10th day of December 1993, which was granted under those regulations to Jan Boyle in respect of the Pixies Childcare Centre, 22 Parish Road, Mount Albert, Auckland.

The Resource Management (Approval of Mercury Energy Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1994

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Mercury Energy Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1994.

   (2) This notice shall come into force the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, “line function services” has the same meaning as in section 2 (1) of the Electricity Act 1992.

3. Approval as requiring authority—Mercury Energy Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority for its network operation for the supply of line function services.

Health Reforms (Transitional Provisions) Act 1993

Notice to the Residual Health Management Unit

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Health Reforms (Transitional Provisions) Act 1993, to restate Crown Health Enterprise debt.

N o t i c e

1. Notice—Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Health Reforms (Transitional Provisions) Act 1993, the Minister of Health hereby notifies and directs, that the debt owed to the Residual Health Management Unit under the Term Loan Agreement by those Crown Health Enterprises, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall be restated by the Residual Health Management Unit.

2. Date on which restatement shall take effect—Each of the restatements specified in the Schedule to this notice shall take effect on the 1st day of July 1993.

3. Interest payments—The interest payments which have been made to the Residual Health Management Unit applicable to that amount of the difference between the restated debt and the original sum, shall be refunded to the Crown Health Enterprises.

4. Legal requirements—The Residual Health Management Unit shall comply with any legal requirements as are necessary to give effect to this notice. These requirements shall be complied with as soon as practicable.

Northland Health Limited

The sum of $4,436,000 of interest bearing debt owed to the Residual Health Management Unit under the Term Loan Agreement shall be restated, from the amount in the Amendment No. 1 to the proposal for the Transfer of Assets and Liabilities to Northland Health Limited, dated 27 October 1993, of $15,936,000 to the sum of $11,500,000.

Auckland Healthcare Services Limited

The sum of $37,249,000 of interest bearing debt owed to the Residual Health Management Unit under the Term Loan Agreement shall be restated, from the amount in the Amendment No. 1 to the proposal for the Transfer of Assets and Liabilities to Auckland Healthcare Services Limited, dated 27 October 1993, of $60,865,000 to the sum of $23,616,000.

Manukau Health Limited

The sum of $7,976,000 of interest bearing debt owed to the Residual Health Management Unit under the Term Loan Agreement shall be restated, from the amount in the Amendment No. 1 to the proposal for the Transfer of Assets and Liabilities to Manukau Health Limited, dated 27 October 1993, of $16,099,000 to the sum of $8,123,000.

Eastbay Health Limited

The sum of $1,403,000 of interest bearing debt owed to the Residual Health Management Unit under the Term Loan Agreement shall be restated, from the amount in the Amendment No. 1 to the proposal for the Transfer of Assets and Liabilities to Eastbay Health Limited, dated 27 October 1993, of $4,903,000 to the sum of $3,500,000.

Lakeland Health Limited
