New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981

Amending a Notice Declaring Land at Christchurch to be Set Apart for Railway Purposes

Pursuant to sections 10 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby amends the notice dated the 24th day of September 1993, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 30 September 1993, No. 138, page 2889, Declaring Land at Christchurch to be Set Apart for Railway Purposes, by omitting from the Schedule the words “480 (0a 0r 19p) Part R.S. 66; being all of the land comprised and described in conveyance 13064 (deeds index 1 c/s 623).”

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare for the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be taken for airport purposes and to be vested in the Crown on the 14th day after the publication of this Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending a Notice Realigning Road in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, hereby amends the notice dated the 12th day of August 1993 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 19 August 1993, No. 124, at page 2477, realigning road in Thames-Coromandel District by inserting in paragraph (b) (i) immediately after “50C/476,” the words “subject to encumbrance B. 082319.3.”

Road Realignment in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Thames-Coromandel District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

(c) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be taken.

(d) Pursuant to sections 117 and 119, declares that:

(i) Area “F”, now known as Section 3, S.O. 59428, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 1017, folio 191, South Auckland Land Registry,

(ii) Areas “E” and “I”, now known together as Section 2, S.O. 59428, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 19A/214, subject to statutory land charges S. 629942 and H. 504814 and to memorandum of mortgage B. 160139, South Auckland Land Registry,
