Revocation of a Notice Relating to the Change of Classification of a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Pursuant to section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby revokes the notice changing the classification of a local purpose reserve, dated 3 February 1993, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 18 February 1993, No. 22, page 466 and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a local purpose (utility) reserve to a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act.

South Auckland Land District—Rotorua District

Blackmore Drive Utility Reserve—Recreation Reserve

8596 square metres, more or less, being Lot 54, D.P. S. 17567 and Lot 55, D.P. S. 17566, situated in Blocks I and II, Tarawera Survey District. Recorded on N.Z.M.S. 261, U16, Sheet 1000/58.08. Part certificate of title 11C/1189.

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Nelson City Council on 23 September 1993:

“That in exercise of its powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Nelson City Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a reserve for local purpose (enhanced open space) purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”
