Declaring Land Taken for Better Utilisation in Grey District and No Longer Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 42 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hokitika, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Area m² Being
1745 Crown land situated in Block I, Cobden (0a-1r-29p) Survey District.
1796 Crown land situated in Block II, Te Miko (0a-1r-31p) Survey District.
627 Crown land situated in Block II, Te Miko (24.8p) Survey District.

As shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 5730, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hokitika.

Road Deviation at Slippery Creek

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 114 (1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 forms part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and vested in John Leicestser Trewin and Alastair Cecil Trewin—both of Oaro, farmers and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 1B/474, Marlborough Land Registry subject to mortgages No. 148172.2 and 155810.

(c) Pursuant to section 119 (1), declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be taken.

As shown marked as above mentioned on the above-mentioned plans lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Blenheim.

Third Schedule

Marlborough Land District—Kaikoura District

463 square metres, being part Section 6, Block XVIII, Hundalee Survey District; as shown marked “D” on S.O. Plan 6931, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Blenheim.

Dated at Christchurch this 22nd day of October 1993.

Land Acquired for Road—Te Hauke—Hastings District

Pursuant to section 114 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier declares the land described in the Schedule to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1987, shall form part of State Highway No. 2.

The land in the Schedule shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road to be Stopped in the District of Hawke’s Bay

Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares the parts of road described in the Schedule to be stopped and further declares that the stopped road be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title J3/592 subject to mortgages 496872.2 and 412320.4.
