Amendment to a Notice

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy hereby amends an error in the notice Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised dated 17 August 1993 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 26 August 1993, No. 126 at page 2560 by omitting from the said notice “Upper Taieti Survey District” and inserting in its place “Upper Kaikorai Survey District”.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scientific reserve, subject to the provisions of section 21 of the said Act, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Borland Mire Scientific Reserve.
