Pursuant to section 37 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of a summary of exemptions, set out in the Schedule hereto, granted by the Director of Civil Aviation.

Docket 5008. To Auckland International Airport Limited. Civil Aviation Rule 139.203. The barrier at Auckland International Airport is more effective than actual compliance with the requirement of rule 139.203 (c). This exemption is conditional on the airport maintaining a barrier of not less than 1900 millimetres in height comprising a diamond mesh fence topped with galvanised tiger tape razor wire coil. Until withdrawn by notice in writing by the Director. Dated 10 September 1993.

Docket 5007. To Mount Cook Airline. Civil Aviation Rule Part 139.69. A barrier at Mt Cook Airport in the form of a purpose-built fence of 1025 millimetres in height with the top 300 millimetres bent outwards at an angle of 30 degrees is more effective than actual compliance with the requirement of rule 139.69 (b) (ii). Until withdrawn by notice in writing by the Director. Dated 21 September 1993.

Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With Declaration That the Same Land Become a Recreation Reserve for Addition to the Maruia Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act and further declares the said reserve to form part of the Maruia Recreation Reserve.
