Reserves Act 1977

Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Lake Kaniere Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation for the West Coast Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, declares that the reserve shall form part of the Lake Kaniere Scenic Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice hereinafter described, the Regional Conservator, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby revokes the notice revoking the vesting of the Ohakune Lakes Scenic Reserve in The Ruapehu District Council, dated 23 July 1993, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 29 July 1993, No. 114, page 2204, and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Cancellation of the Vesting of Control of a Reserve

The Regional Conservator, Wanganui, Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority, hereby revokes the appointment of The Ruapehu District Council to control and manage the Ohakune Lakes Scenic Reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

Amendment to a Notice Revoking a Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby amends an error in the notice revoking the reservation over a reserve dated the 8th day of October 1992, No. 161, page 3332, by omitting from the Schedule of the said notice “Section 45, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District” and inserting “Part Waikawa West 5 ML 6923 (formerly Section 45, Block XII, Linkwater Survey District)” and omitting from the Schedule of the said notice “Gazette notice 97790 (New Zealand Gazette, 1980, page 262)” and inserting “Gazette notice 25895 (New Zealand Gazette, 1956, No. 46, page 1132)”.
