Appointment of Persons to be Assessors in Respect of Earthquake Prone Buildings

Pursuant to section 68 (1) of the Building Act 1991, the Building Industry Authority has appointed the following panel of appropriate persons to be assessors in respect of earthquake prone buildings:

Ian Joseph Billings, professional engineer of Wellington;

Winston David Currington Clark, professional engineer of Wellington;

Ian Alexander Nicholson Fraser, professional engineer of Wellington;

Henry John Hare, professional engineer of Christchurch;

David Conway Hopkins, professional engineer of Wellington;

Robert David Jury, professional engineer of Wellington;

Arthur Joseph O'Leary, professional engineer of Wellington;

Trevor William Robertson, professional engineer of Auckland;

Louis Mervyn Robinson, professional engineer of Dunedin;

Reginald Bruce Shephard, professional engineer of Wellington; and

Ronald Grant Wilkinson, professional engineer of Christchurch.

New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987

Approved Export Marketing Strategy and Export Licenceβ€”Requirements for Myoga

Pursuant to section 30 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, the authority hereby gives notice with respect to the following prescribed product:

Myoga (Zingiber mioga)

that

(a) On the 22nd day of January 1993, the authority approved the export marketing strategy with respect to this prescribed product, pursuant to section 28 of the said Act; and

(b) Pursuant to section 29 of the said Act, the authority has fixed the 22nd day of January 1993, as the date this export marketing strategy shall come into force; and

(c) From the 22nd day of January 1993, any person who wishes to export myoga will be required to hold an export licence issued under the said Act; and

(d) Applications for an export licence should be made to the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority, P.O. Box 1417, Wellington, on the form provided by the authority.
