Pursuant to section 30 (3) of the Pork Industry Board Act 1982, notice is hereby given that the levy on pigs slaughtered on licensed premises as from and including the 1st day of October 1993, shall be $4.98375 (inclusive of GST).

The Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1989

Pursuant to the Overseas Investment Regulations 1985, the Overseas Investment Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Pursuant to regulation 21 of the Overseas Investment Regulations 1985, the Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1989 has been revoked.

Explanatory Note:

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

The notice which comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette, revokes the exemption granted to Goodman Fielder Wattie Limited and specified persons in March 1989 (SR 1989/57). The term “specified person” is defined to mean a company which is an overseas person under the regulations, but which would not be an overseas person if Goodman Fielder Wattie Limited were not an overseas person.

Conservation

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Dunedin City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Otago Land District—Dunedin City

677 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 7, D.P. 858, Block III, Upper Taieri Survey District. All certificate of title 257/203 limited. Subject to fencing agreement contained in conveyance No. 88356 (132/74).

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a Government purpose (site for Government buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Napier City Council on the 29th day of July 1992:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Napier City Council resolves that the pieces of land held by the city in fee simple and, described in the Schedule, are declared to be recreation reserves.”
