Notice of Approval of Guardian Trust Australia Limited to Act as a Trustee

Pursuant to section 48 of the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission approves Guardian Trust Australia Limited (“the company”) to act as a trustee for the purposes of the Securities Act 1978, in respect of unsecured subordinated convertible notes to be offered to the public by Macraes Mining Company Limited before 2 October 1993. This approval is subject to the condition that the New Zealand Guardian Trust Company Limited acts with the company as a co-trustee in respect of the securities.

Reserves Act 1977

Vesting of Reserves in the Central Otago District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby vests the Lowburn Public Hall Reserve and the Kyeburn Public Hall and Library Reserves, described in the Schedule hereto, in the Central Otago District Council in trust, for the purpose specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said reserves.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Tongariro/Taupo Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Taupo District Council on the 5th day of May 1993:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Taupo District Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the district in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of section 17 of the said Act.”
