New Zealand Walkways Act 1990

Declaration That Land Shall be a Walkway

Pursuant to the New Zealand Walkways Act 1990 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Otago Regional Conservator, hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be a walkway, and shall hereafter be known as Tunnel Beach Walkway.

3999 square metres, more or less, being part Sections 145 and 163, Green Island Bush Survey District; part Sections 3 and 5, Block XIII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; and part Sections 56, 57 and 58, Ocean Beach Survey District. Declaration That Land is a Reserve

The Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Southland Conservancy, declares that the following resolution was passed by The Southland County Council on the 23rd day of February 1989:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Southland County Council resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”
