Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to Be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Forestry, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Schedule

Westland Land District—Westland District

811 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 11757, situated in Block VIII, Abbey Rocks Survey District.

Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby authorises the exchange of the part of the Spooners Range Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy hereby change the classification of the reserve known as Kowhai Point Recreation Reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from reserve for recreational purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes subject to the provisions of section (19) (1) (a) of the said Act.
