International Air Services Licensing Act 1947
Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence
Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the licence issued to Aerolineas Argentinas, with effect from 2 April 1992, so as to allow the airline to operate up to two services per week year-round on the route Buenos Aires - Auckland - Sydney and, in respect of the Auckland - Sydney sector, to uplift cargo.
Details of this amendment may be obtained from the Acting General Manager, Air Transport Division, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt.

Approval of Defensive Driving Courses
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and under powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument dated the 1st day of October 1991; I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Controller, Road User Standards, hereby approve the following organisations for the purposes of section 68 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulations 11 (1) (b) (i) and 32 (2) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987;
Waikato North Defensive Driving Course, Huntly.

Exemption From Seatbelt Requirements (Full Harness Restraint System Alternative)
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, I, Peter W. Bowen, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby exempt the specified class of vehicles from regulation 29 (1) (a), (2) (3) (4) and 30 (2) of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule below.
Pursuant to regulation 89 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, I, Peter W. Bowen, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby exempt the specified class of vehicles from regulation 78A (a) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule below.\n
This exemption allows the fitting of full harness restraints for the front outer seating positions in motor sport vehicles. The administration and conditions of this exemption are policed by the Motorsport Association of New Zealand (MANZ).
This exemption may be withdrawn at any time.
Specified Class
The specified class of motor vehicle is:
Any vehicle that is registered with and complies with the Motorsport Association of New Zealand Inc requirements.
Schedule of Conditions

MANZ issue an “Authority Card” with both MoT and MANZ original logo’s.

The “Authority Card” must be carried in the vehicle at all times and produced when requested by: Police, MoT, Vehicle Standards, or Warrant of Fitness Authorities.

The “Authority Card” shall identify the vehicle, vehicle owner, type of restraints fitted, and be of an acceptable format to the Ministry of Transport. The “Authority Card” is not transferable.

All safety harnesses and anchorages must be constructed and comply with a recognised standard or comply with any other current MANZ requirements.

If a harness has other than a simple single action buckle assembly, easy to follow instructions must be easily seen from the drivers seat.

In the event of the vehicle ceasing to comply with above items, the appropriate seatbelts and anchorages for road use must be fitted into the vehicle.
