Local Government Amendment Act (No. 2) 1989

Corrigendum

The Local Government (Otago Region) Reorganisation Amendment Order (No. 3) 1990

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette dated 19 October 1990, No. 183, page 3950, amend paragraph (4) of clause 3 from:

“‘(4) Clause 151 of the principal order is hereby amended by inserting, after subclause (3) of this clause, on application to the Local Government Commission by the Clutha District Council, be extended for such further period or be reduced as the Commission determines.’”

To read:

“‘(4) Clause 151 of the principal order is hereby amended by inserting, after subclause (3), the following subclause:

‘“(4) The period specified in subclause (3) of this clause may, on application to the Local Government Commission by the Clutha District Council, be extended for such further period or be reduced as the Commission determines.”’”

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette dated 6 July 1991, No. 114, page 2328, in the introductory paragraph, line 2, for the expression “20G of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924” replace with “20(g) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924”.

Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Waikato District) Notice No. 2, 1991

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller, Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice.

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato District) Notice No. 2, 1991.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 4, 1968, dated on the 14th day of October 1968*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.

The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 3, 1973, dated on the 10th day of September 1973†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, is revoked.

First Schedule

Situated within Waikato District at Te Kauwhata:

Amo Street.

Baird Street.

Eccles Avenue.

Hori Street: from Te Kauwhata-Waitakaruru Road to the north-western end of Hori Street.

Mahi Road.

Moana Road.

Pa Street.

Rata Street.

Rimu Street.

Roto Street.

Te Kauwhata-Waitakaruru Road (Waerenga Road): from a point 360 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Eccles Avenue to a point 60 metres
