Road Deviation at Conway River Bridge

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of the State Highway No. 1 and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the Third Schedule hereto, to be stopped and vested in the Public Trustee and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 516, folio 200, Canterbury Land Registry.
