(2) The principal notice is hereby amended by revoking clause 21 of the Schedule and substituting the following clause:

Kohitere Forest—680 hectares approximately, being the land edged green on the plan labelled Kohitere Forest and being Section 74, part Section 46 and part Section 47, Block II, Waiopehu Survey District, Section 81, 86, 87 and part Section 48, Block VI, Waiopehu Survey District, Section 1, S.O. 30322 and Section 2, S.O. 36291, more commonly known as Kohitere Forest”.

Hunua Rural Fire District Notice 1992

Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Hunua Rural District Notice 1992.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. In this notice, unless the content otherwise requires, the

“Act” means the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977; the

“committee” means the Hunua Rural Fire Committee; the

“district” means the Hunua Rural Fire District.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for the Hunua Rural Fire District Notice 1948 (a) and all amendments thereto.

Constitution of the Hunua Rural Fire District

4. The areas specified in the Schedule to this notice are hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Hunua Rural Fire District.

5. The Hunua Rural Fire District shall be administered for the purpose of the said Act by a rural fire committee known as the Hunua Rural Fire Committee.

6. The Hunua Rural Fire Committee shall consist of nine members as follows:

(a) Two persons appointed, in writing, by the Auckland Regional Council; and

(b) One person appointed, in writing, by the Waikato Regional Council; and

(c) One person appointed, in writing, by the Franklin District Council; and

(d) One person appointed, in writing, by the Manukau City Council; and

(e) One person appointed, in writing, by the Director-General of the Department of Conservation; and

(f) One person appointed, in writing, by the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Fire Service; and

(g) One person (representing farming interests in the district), appointed, in writing, by the Federated Farmers of New Zealand Incorporated; and

(h) One person (representing forest owners in the district), appointed, in writing, by New Zealand Forest Owners Association Incorporated.

All those areas in the North Auckland Land District, Manukau City and Franklin District containing approximately 33,150 hectares, and described generally as follows:
