the scheme otherwise than in connection with the exercise of his functions and powers as statutory supervisor;

(e) That James Bryant Steele does not, while holding office as statutory supervisor, hold any participatory securities in respect of, or have any interest in, the scheme;

(f) That while James Bryant Steele holds office as statutory supervisor, no relationship exists between him and the trust or the scheme that affects or is likely to affect adversely the exercise of his functions and powers as statutory supervisor;

(g) That while James Bryant Steele holds office as statutory supervisor, satisfactory professional indemnity insurance is maintained in respect of the exercise of his functions and powers as statutory supervisor.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Part of State Highway No. 5 at Ngongotaha Intersection

Pursuant to section 61 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw:

Bylaw:

  1. This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1992/5.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force immediately.

  3. In this bylaw, “motor vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.

  4. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres an hour on that part of State Highway No. 5 (Tirau to Napier) from a point 400 metres north-west of the centreline of Ngongotaha Road to a point 420 metres generally south of Ngongotaha Road.

  5. Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.

This bylaw is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

3.4653 hectares, more or less, being Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5, S.O. Plan 11961, situated in Block XVI, Smoothwater Survey District and Block XIII, Hapuka Survey District.
