Reserves Act 1977

Declaration that Private Land Shall be Protected Private Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the private land, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be protected private land for scientific purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Change of Purpose, Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to sections 16 and 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby changes the purpose of and classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, to be recreation reserves and further notifies that the reserves shall hereafter form part of the Sandy Point Domain Reserve.

Amendment to a Notice Declaring That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy, hereby amends an error in the notice dated the 8 March 1989, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 49, page 1126, by deleting the following from the notice:

“4572 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. S. 35373, situated in NZMS 261, S14, Sheets 45.26 and 45.27. All certificate of title 36A/714”.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve Together with Naming of the Reserve

Pursuant to sections 14 and 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Invercargill City Council on the 21st day of February 1991, and hereby further notifies that the reserve shall hereafter be known as the Sandy Point Domain Reserve:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Invercargill City Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said city council, either in fee simple or a endowment land, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act, and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as Sandy Point Domain Reserve”.
