Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Exemption From Certain Equipment Requirements for Vehicles Operating on Great Barrier Island

Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Richard Leslie Reynolds, Controller Vehicle Standards, hereby exempt the specified class of motor vehicles from the requirements of regulation 35 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990. This notice shall expire on 31 December 1995.

Specified Class of Motor Vehicles

Any motor vehicle operated solely on Great Barrier Island which is required to undergo periodic warrant of fitness inspections.
