(3) Clause 3, subclause 5, is amended by inserting as paragraph (g): ‘Wanganui River (excluding tributaries) downstream from the boundary’.

(4) Clause 3, subclause 5, paragraph (g) of the principal notice is hereby renumbered as 3(5)(h) and shall conclude at the words “to the Boundary”. The remainder of clause 3(5)(g) of the principal notice is amended to read as an unnumbered paragraph, viz.: ‘The open season shall be from 1st October in any year to the 30th April in the following year (both days inclusive), then from the 10th day of June of that following year to the 30th September of that same year (both days inclusive)’.

  1. Daily Limit Bag—(1) Subclause (3) of clause 7 of the principal notice is repealed and replaced with:
    ‘Notwithstanding subclause (1) and (2) above no licence holder shall take or kill more than 2 trout from Lake Rotomanu, Mangaone, Opanake, Virginia, Pauri, Wiritoa, Namanumu, and Raetihi Hydro Dam and Dobbs Dam’.

(2) Clause 7 of the principal notice is amended by adding as sub-clause (4): ‘Notwithstanding subclause (1), (2) and (3) above there shall be no limit on the number of perch taken or killed by a licence holder’.

District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish & Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, page 3208–3209.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Hawke’s Bay Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).

(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1992.

  1. Open Season—(1) Clause 3(2)(b) of the principal notice is repealed and replaced with:
    ‘(b) The Tukituki River where it passes through the Tuki Tuki Wildlife Refuge and between the junction of the Tukipo River and the Mount Herbert Road extension.’

This amendment places the word “and” between “Wildlife Refuge” and “between the ...”.

(2) Clause 3(3) of the principal notice is hereby renumbered as clause 3(4).

(3) Clause 3(4) of the principal notice is hereby renumbered as clause 3(3).

Clause 2(2) and 2(3) of this amendment present the open seasons in chronological order.

District Anglers (Wellington Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Wellington Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Wellington Fish & Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, page 3210–3211.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Wellington Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Wellington Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).

(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1992.

  1. Daily Bag Limit—(1) Clause 9(1) of the principal notice is deleted and replaced with the following:

(a) No licence holder shall on any one day take, kill or have in possession more than a total of two trout or salmon taken from the following rivers (all tributaries included): Hautapu, Rangitikei (upstream of Springvale Bridge to the junction of Oturua Stream) and Wainuiauma Rivers, and all waters upstream of the boundaries of the Kaimanawa, Ruahine, Tararua and Rimutaka Conservation Parks.

(b) Rangitikei River upstream of the confluence of Oturua Stream: one trout or salmon per day.

(c) All other waters: no limit.

District Anglers (Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to section 26R (3) of the Conservation Act 1987 (as amended by section 17 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990), the Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Nelson/Marlborough Fish & Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3211–3213.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Nelson/Marlborough Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).

(2) This amending notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1992.

  1. Closed Season—(1) Clause 4 (4) of the principal notice (as amended by clause 3 of Amendment No.1) is repealed and replaced with:
    ‘(4) There shall be a closed season for fishing for chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) within a radius of 300 metres from the mouth of the Kahutara River from 1 February to 30 April in the same year.’

  2. Authorised Lures and Baits—(1) Clause 6 (2) (n) of the principal notice (as amended by amendment No. 1) is repealed and replaced with:
    ‘(n) Clarence River above Glen Alton Bridge but excluding Lake Tennyson;’

  3. Daily Limit Bag—(1) Clause 9 (2) (a) of the principal notice is repealed and replaced with:
    ‘(a) Coastal rivers and their tributaries meeting the sea between and including the Awatere and Conway rivers, but excluding Lake Tennyson;’
