Unclaimed Property—Notice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under the Public Trust Office Act 1957—Part V
Whereas:
-
Gilbert Tomasi Sawmills Limited, a duly incorporated company is the registered owner of the property mentioned in the Schedule ("the property").

The company known as Gilbert Tomasi Sawmills Limited was dissolved on 22 April 1982.

The property would vest in the Crown under section 337 of the Companies Act 1955 or otherwise if it were not subject to a trust for any other person, and after such inquiry it is not known whether it is subject to any such trust.

The gross value of the property (as estimated by the public trustee) does not exceed $4,000.

The public trustee is satisfied that he should become the manager of the property.
Now therefore the public trustee in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by section 80 (2) of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, hereby elects to be manager of the property under Part V of the said Act.
Schedule
All that parcel of land containing 1195 square metres, more or less, being Lot 4, Deposited Plan 2008 and being also part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 2A, folio 562 (Westland Registry), subject to (a) the rules and regulations for mining on private property within the Provincial District of Westland; (b) 36242 Gazette notice; (c) stormwater easement in transfer 55014.

Declaration That a Marginal Strip is Not Required
Pursuant to section 24B of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the marginal strip requirements set out in section 24 of the Act shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land in the Schedule hereto.
