Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a practice of conservation and the building of a conservatory forming part of an archive or repository for local history and taonga for the common use and benefit of Hakaraia Whetu Parata's family and hapu (Tuwharetoa).

Cancellation of a Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 (5)(b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori Reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 August 1989, No. 156, page 4142, is hereby cancelled.

Declaring General Land to be Excluded from a Maori Reservation

Notice is hereby given that by virtue of section 439 (5) (a) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and, pursuant to a recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the general land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be excluded from the Maori Reservation known as Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 8982, comprising portion of Huramua No. 3 Block, situated in Block 1, Clyde Survey District (Huramua Marae), constituted by Order in Council issued on the 16th day of October 1958 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 63, page 1384.

Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1992, No. 15.

2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby revoked, omitting all reference to the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
