CATHERINE A. TIZARD, Governor-General

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens or easements affecting the same at the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Declaring Road to be Stopped and Vested and Easement to be Acquired Over Land in the City of Wellington

Pursuant to Part II and Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington:

(a) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120 (3), declares the road described in the First Schedule hereto to be stopped and vested in Her Majesty the Queen for the use, convenience and enjoyment of a road.

(b) Pursuant to section 28 (b), declares that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for a water supply easement and shall vest in The Wellington Regional Council.
