Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Waikato District Council on the 9th day of April 1991.

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Waikato District Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose reserve (community use) within the meaning of the said Act."

Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Regional Conservator, Waikato Conservancy, Department of Conservation acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares that the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall hereafter be known as the Morgan Park Recreation Reserve.
